A guessing game using animal sounds. When your child hears the animal sounds, he can guess and say the animal's name.

Bartolo
Bartolo
Un juego de adivinanza para un grupo de niños. Se elige un líder. El líder y los niños estarán de pie en un círculo mientras que un solo niño se coloca en el centro del círculo. El niño del centro no sabrá quien es el líder. Cuando empieza la canción, el líder hace movimientos disimulados para que los otros niños lo imiten. Mientras tanto, el niño en el centro estará tratando de adivinar quien es el líder. El niño del centro tiene hasta el fin de la canción para adivinar quien es el líder. (Es muy importante disimular para no dejarle saber al niño del centro quien es el verdadero líder. Tendrá 3 oportunidades para adivinar antes de que se termine la canción.)

A guessing game. Choose a leader. All children stand in a circle except for one child who will stand in the middle of the group. The objective of the game is for that one child to guess who’s the leader. Once the song begins, the leader makes different gestures for the rest of the children in the circle to follow. Meanwhile, the child in the center attempts to guess who’s the leader. The child has until the end of the song to guess. (It's very important that the children are subtle about their movements as to not give away the identity of the leader. The child in the middle has 3 guesses before the song ends.)

Un juego para brincar o para cantar. Los niños brincan sobre un pedazo de tabla o objeto mientras que cantan la canción.
A jumping or singing game. Children may jump over a makeshift piece of wood, side to side as they sing the song.

Este juego se puede jugar como el juego de papa caliente. Los niños pueden sentarse en un circulo en el suelo o en sillas. Se pasa una bolita alrededor hasta que termine la canción o hasta que alguién le de pausa. Al final de la canción el que se quede con la bolita, pierde. El juego continua hasta que un solo niño quede - el ganador!
This game may be played similarly to “hot potato.” Children sit in a circle on the floor or on seats. As the music begins, children begin to pass the ball or “hot potato” around the circle. Once the music ends or someone stops the song, the child left with the ball, loses. The game continues until one child is left - the winner!

Traditional game. Played like, "Double, double, this this" in English. It may also be played with the word, "Mariposa" or any other four-syllable word.

Juego tradicional. Se juega igual que "Double, double, this this" en inglés. También se puede jugar con la palabra, "Mariposa" u otra palabra con cuatro sílabas.

Un juego de baile y diversión. Los niños estarán parados en un circulo con un solo niño en el centro del circulo. Cuando empieze la cancion, todos bailan con estilo merengue (con las manos en las caderas y moviendo las caderas de lado a lado.) El niño del centro sigue las palabras de la canción: un pasito p’alante y otro para atrás, y dando la vuelta (volteandose con ojos cerrado y con la mano hacia el frente de su cuerpo preparandose para escoger a otro niño con su dedo indice cuando llegue a: quién se quedará?) Escogerá a otro niño para que baile en el centro.
This is a fun, dancing game. Children will stand in a circle with one child or two standing in the center. Once the song begins, everyone dances with their hands on their hips and their hips moving side to side as in a merengue dance. The child in the center follows the song’s words: Un pasito p’alante (move forward two steps), y otro para atras (move back two steps), y dando la vuelta (turn around with eyes closed and hand out ready to choose another child with the pointer finger when the song ends: quién se quedará?) Whoever is chosen gets to be in the center of the circle.

Original counting song. Children and adults may count up to twenty. The song repeats itself up to 19 and only at the end do you say "veinte" (twenty)!
Canción original para contar desde el uno hasta el veinte - se repite hasta el 19 y solamente en lo último de la canción se dice veinte!
